I'm so excited to be one of the winners of the June primary running for the open seat for San Francisco Superior Court. Your support and endorsements translated into 68,000 votes for us in the primary and we're continuing to build a strong coalition for the final vote on November 8th.
I am proud of my more than two decades of public service in San Francisco, and I’m eager to continue to serve the city as a Superior Court judge. Of course, every political race is a challenge, and I am asking in advance for your support as I continue building a broad, citywide community-based campaign.
There is so much we can and must do to improve our criminal and juvenile justice systems, but it will take working with the entire San Francisco community to make those reforms possible. And at the end of the day, building a stronger, more equitable justice system cannot happen without judicial officers who deeply reflect the communities that they serve.
Join me here and I’ll be in touch with more details soon about how we can continue working together over the next several months and beyond. In the meantime, I’m energized by your encouragement and continued friendship.
Now let’s get to work on justice reforms that benefit all San Franciscans!
